Daddy'n Me

5:00:PM - 7:00:PM

Daddy'n me is a lively play-based program for men and their children birth to six years. If you are a dad, grandpa, uncle or caring neighbor, you are invited to hang out with us at the Early Years Centre on Tuesday nights from 5:00-7:00 pm. The program is offered in partnership with Childrens Mental Health and First Adventure Child Development Centre. The services are free.

Daddy'n me participants will enjoy:

exclusive use of the Early Years Centre
a light dinner catered by a local restaurant
a variety of age-appropriate activities
active playtime in the gym, block room or creative art room
a special planned activity and story telling time
the opportunity to chat with other men and their children
support and resources from male early years professionals

Babies & Beyond

12:00:PM - 3:00:PM

Babies & Beyond is a dynamic weekly group for teen parents and “mommas-to-be” living in the Belleville area. It is offered at the South Hastings-Prince Edward Ontario Early Years Centre in partnership with Ontario Works and Children’s Mental Health. The group meets Tuesday & Thursday afternoons from noon to 3:00. The services are free.

You can access our services if you:

are under the age of 21 years
are pregnant or parenting

Babies & Beyond is where you can:

enjoy social time with peers
have a nutritious lunch
access childcare while you attend the group
take credit courses to get your high school diploma
win prizes and receive great "free stuff"
have discussions on topics such as prenatal health, personal well being, child development, parenting tips, nutrition and breastfeeding
get support and information

Babies & Beyond groups are also available in Bancroft, Madoc, Picton, and Quinte West.

Belleville West Playgroup

You and your child will enjoy the intimacy of this smaller group offering fun stimulating activities all in one cozy room. Come for the fun, stay for the learning!

Deseronto Early Learning Playgroup

9:00:AM - 11:00:AM

You will enjoy both child-led and facilitated learning activities offered in a spacious well equipped setting. A dynamic planned program along with occasional parenting discussion group sessions supported by early years professionals will assist you in boosting your childs opportunities for success!

Family Space Playgroup

9:00:AM - 12:00:PM

Choose from a wide variety of materials, activities and events offered in beautifully equipped large play spaces specially designed to encourage children to safely explore, experiment and learn through play. Your fun-filled day may include visits to the Creative Room, Block/Drama Room, Infant/Toddler Room, Gymnasium and Discovery Den. The friendly qualified staff invites you to join them as they strive to enrich the lives of children and those special people who care for them.
