Babies and Beyond

Babies & Beyond is a dynamic weekly group for teen parents and “mommas-to-be” living in the Belleville area. It is offered at the South Hastings-Prince Edward Ontario Early Years Centre in partnership with Ontario Works and Children’s Mental Health. This group meets Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from noon to 3:00. The services are free.

You can access our services if you:

• are under the age of 21 years
• are pregnant or parenting

Babies & Beyond is where you can:

• enjoy social time with peers
• have a nutritious lunch
• access childcare while you attend the group
• take credit courses to get your high school diploma
• win prizes and receive great "free stuff"
• have discussions on topics such as prenatal health, personal well being, child development, parenting tips, nutrition and breastfeeding
• get support and information

Babies & Beyond groups are also available in Bancroft, Madoc, Picton, and Quinte West.
